About RootList

1. What RootList is

RootList is an independent directory of communities, bots and apps for Root. It helps people find a community to join or a bot to add, and helps owners get their project in front of the people looking for it.

RootList is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Root.

2. How listings work

• Owners add their community, bot or app for free. Listings are moderated by the RootList team, who can unlist, reject or ban those that break the rules.
• Visitors vote for the listings they like, and community owners bump theirs to bring them back to the top. Votes and bumps have cooldowns so rankings reflect real interest.
• Rankings such as Trending and Fast growing are recalculated every few minutes from recent votes and bumps. Paid plans add features and a small priority boost; they never buy a top position.
• Members can leave reviews, and owners can link their community through the official RootList bot to show live member statistics.

3. Content rules

Listings must follow our Terms of Service. Communities, bots and apps built around sexually explicit content, hate, scams or other harmful material are removed. To report a listing, contact us using the details below.

4. Advertising

RootList is free to use and is funded by optional paid plans and by ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly labelled, and how advertising data is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.
